How do I book a private bus charter?

How much is the cost - What will I REALLY end up paying?
We offer private charters for almost every budget. The rate includes EVERYTHING -- the bus rental, driver salary, fuel, airport and port fees, tolls, gratuity, and sales tax -- there are NO extra charges.

What kind of vehicles are available?
Our fleet of new vehicles consists of 56 passenger coach buses, 40 passenger mini coach buses, and 14 passenger Mercedes-Benz vans.

Who drives your vehicles?
We take tremendous pride in our professional drivers. Our policy is to only permit drivers who are professionally qualified by Florida licensing agencies. All drivers must have a clean driving record and pass routine drug tests. The drivers also undergo ongoing training in safety and customer service.

Do you have insurance?
Yes we do. The Florida Department of Transportation has specific insurance requirements for charter bus companies. Every vehicle in our fleet is fully licensed and carries one million dollars in coverage. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

What size groups can you accommodate?
We welcome groups of all sizes, from intimate to substantial. Our fleet can accommodate groups up to 1,000 passengers.

How much luggage can I bring?
You may bring one piece of luggage per person to be checked under the coach (not weighing more than 50 pounds) and one small carry-on bag.

Is there a restroom onboard?
No, we have removed the restrooms and re-configured the seating to allow for more legroom. Restroom breaks are always available at the customer's request.

Are food and beverages allowed the bus?
Yes, food and beverages are allowed. We ask that you dispose of all trash and treat your bus with care.

Do you customize your charters to individual groups?
Yes. We know each group has different requirements, and will work with you to customize a charter that best fits the needs and interests of your group.

Where do you have authority to travel?
Miami Tour Company is a fully Licensed Tour Operator by the State of Florida Department of Transportation (DOT: 1787989FL). We are authorized to travel anywhere in the State, from Key West to Orlando, Miami to Tampa, and everywhere in between.

Is it ever too early or too late in the planning process to contact you?
We are available to offer assistance at any time. However, most of our private charter services do require an advance notice of at least 2 weeks.

Do you work directly with hotels, or will I have to contact them on my own?
We have a strong relationship with hotels in Miami, Key West, and Orlando, and are happy to serve as the initial liaison. Just tell us your price range and we'll suggest some good places to stay that fit your budget.

Can you recommended some good restaurants for large groups?
Miami has an array of great restaurants for groups, offering everything from Seafood, Italian, and Southern cooking to Barbecue and Cuban cuisine. Here are some restaurants we suggest: Rusty Pelican, Michael's Genuine, Mango's Tropical Cafe, Bongos Cuban Café, La Caretta, Bubba Gump, The Knife, 94th Aero Squadron, Smith & Wollensky.
