About the tour

You're the adventurous type, right? You want to see the Everglades, but you don't need a guide. You want to go at your own pace. The My Everglades Experience is perfect for you. We drive to the Park and let you explore the waterways by yourself, on your own boat, and driving the boat is a blast!

Ideally when exploring nature, you want to take your time to savoir things you find special, and this tour lets you do it.

Search for alligators and wildlife. Then, have a picnic lunch on the boat. You can buy snacks and drinks at the general store. The cafe sells sandwiches and salads.

The park is also home to Largemouth bass fishing. Bring your own fishing gear, or rent a pole for $15 at the bait shop.

Why no double dercker bus?
The three main reasons we choose to NOT use double-decker buses:

  1. Your protection - This is Miami, it rains here. The sun is also strong. Not to mention, mosquitoes
  2. Safety & comfort - Double-decker buses do not have seat belts or air conditioning
  3. The environment - The old style London buses produce much, much more air pollution

In 2016, Miami Tour Company invested over 1 million dollars and purchased 3 new Mini Coach buses for our customer's pleasure. Our new buses offer a luxurious and spacious interior. The construction provides a smooth and quiet ride, while its maneuverability helps us access remote places.

We have reconfigured the seating on our Embassy Class coaches for just 40 passengers (with an average of 32 guests per tour) - creating 35% more legroom than on a typical tour bus. We also provide you with complimentary water and a tour map for your comfort.
